A few of gor gor J’s classmates’ mummies and myself wanted to head out for brekkie after we dropped the kids off on their K2 graduation photo-taking day.  We did linger around in school for awhile to catch some of the camera actions but soon, our growling stomachs got better of us.  We decided on The Book Cafe located at Martin Road as we were sure it was opened by then (In fact, they open by 830am!).  Not many options nearby open that early.  Further, it was only a stone’s throw away which was great for the hungry mummies.

The All Day Breakfast, though did not impress greatly, was pleasant enough. The cozy atmosphere more than made up for it.  We were a tad too loud at times when we were carried away with our chats and looked around sheepishly at other customers who might be working or reading.  It’s a book cafe after all 🙂

The otherwise boring chipolatas with toasts and eggs I ordered ended up as a delightful brekkie because of what you see here.

Yuzi Tea

This is Honey Yuzi tea from Tea Forté.  This look of this petite ribbon box already won me over the moment it landed in front of me.  First few sips of this tea instantly left me a happier woman 🙂  It is one of those beverages that makes you feel good drinking it and you somehow know it does something wonderful to your body.

And so I went on to find out more about this tea and it turned out to be one of the many many tea collections from Tea Forté. Honey Yuzi is under the Skin Smart tea range which was described as:

“Delicious Skin-Smart tea works with your body’s chemistry to help protect and take care of skin from within. These progressive teas support the detoxifying effect of abundant plant-based polyphenols and catechins, a strong tool in skin recovery and the fight against visible signs of skin ageing.”

Doesn’t it sounds like the perfect beverage to drink on a regular basis for all us ladies out there who are … well… ageing?

While browsing around their site, I was visually enticed by all the cute petit ribbon boxes and gorgeous packaging of the gift sets.  I never knew shopping for tea can feel as exciting.  I can’t wait to try out some of the other blends they have.  I just need to figure out which friend is travelling to US soon to help save on shipping 🙂
