It has been a while (ok. short while) since the four “brunch mummies” (that’s what we decided to call ourselves for obvious reason) got together for one of those two to three hour-long mummies’ chats.
This time round, we headed to the southern most part of Singapore – Kith Cafe @ Sentosa Cove.
It was a glorious morning and the moment we stepped out of the car (we car pool whenever we can!), we felt a a sense of surrounding tranquility all around. Away from the hustle and bustle of a typical weekday morning.
This place is not only kids-friendly (kids can just scoot up and down long the banks just outside the restaurant), it is also dog-friendly as we witnessed a few enjoying the morning breeze while their owners sip their cuppa.
Great place if I should need a serene morning by myself either for a good read or some creative work to be done.
This Better Than Benny was such a visual feast! The poached eggs were literally staring and shouting out to me: “Try me next time!”
And for those who just can’t seem to find the perfect item on the menu can “Make Your Own”, which is what one of us did. You get to go for double potions of your favourite items if you have been fasting since the night before… or go with just enough if a heavy lunch is still in the cards that day.
Gorgeous selection of food as you can see. I love that they use only free-range eggs and offer the options of multigrain and even gluten-free for their choice of toast.
The only complain I have was that the food service was extremely slow but the staff apologised sincerely and explained that it had got to do with their first day of some menu changes. Nonetheless, another enjoyable morning well spent with great company.
